LitWorld collaborates with local, grassroots partners who know and recognize the languages, cultures, hopes, and dreams of their community members. We adapt to each community’s self-identified needs to give children and families the opportunity to read, write, and share their stories. Since 2007, we have partnered with over 50 organizations across more than 30 countries. We train and connect Partnership Coordinators and Mentors who are invested in growing sustainable, hopeful communities locally, as well as a supportive global network of LitWorld leaders.

Our Partnership Model
Launched in 2022, LitWorld’s unique partnership model is the next step in widening both the reach and impact of our work. This new model allows us to not only continue running vital LitWorld programming throughout our partner communities, but also enables us to work with partners and explore new ways of creating change through our revolutionary Innovation Projects. In doing so, we can continue pioneering the best practices for teaching, enriching, and transforming young lives everywhere.
Our new partnership model divides LitWorld’s many partners into two equally important groups: Innovation Partners and Network Partners.
Network Partners
Network Partners include all of LitWorld’s partners, both past and present. These partners are able to run LitClubs, LitCamps, and more while enjoying access to LitWorld’s trainings, resources, and global network. Through this, Network Partners can continue bringing LitWorld’s life-changing programs to even more kids and communities.
Innovation Partners
Innovation Partners not only run in-depth LitWorld program, but also collaborate with LitWorld to test new ideas known as "Innovation Projects" designed to address the unique needs of their communities. Through this, we can find the most effective ways of creating sustainable, lasting change and bring these discoveries to communities everywhere.
